Tammy Abraham struggled to take any joy from his two-goal haul at Sheffield Wednesday last night.
The on-loan Chelsea striker is now top of the Sky Bet Championship scoring charts after his brace at Hillsborough put City 2-0 up at half-time.
However, following the mad minute which saw Lee Tomlin miss a penalty kick and Gary O’Neil receive his marching orders, the Owls fought back to snatch a 3-2 victory in stoppage time.
“I thought we totally bossed it in the first half,” Abraham told Bristol City Player HD.
“It actually felt like we would come out after half-time and score even more goals, given how we were playing.
“But when Gaz (O’Neil) was sent off, it felt like we were the only team to be reduced to ten men.
“They had an amazing crowd behind them and were lifted by that.”
He added: “Scoring another two goals was a great feeling, but when you don’t win the game it’s never the best.
“If I score two, I want to win the game. It’s a team sport at the end of the day.
“I’m pleased we’ve got another game so soon and we’ll be keen to bounce back.”
