Help Stroke Victims By Donating To BASF At Forest Game

Bristol Area Stroke Foundation will be fundraising at the Bristol City v Nottingham Forest game at Ashton Gate this Saturday, October 1st.

A stroke occurs suddenly and lives are turned upside down overnight. Stroke is the biggest cause of adult disability.

Many people are left with long-term consequences – obvious ones like difficulty walking and speaking, and some less obvious like problems with vision, swallowing, and cognition.

Bristol Area Stroke Foundation helps people rebuild their lives after stroke and provides information, support and companionship.

“After stroke your confidence is shattered and you need help to do the simple things.”

“Thank you for your kindness … for all your advice, personal attention, respect and understanding.”

Last season BASF raised over £650 at Ashton Gate Stadium thanks to your generous donations. If you see the BASF bucket collectors at Ashton Gate please give whatever you can spare, even the smallest amount can help rebuild someone’s confidence and dignity after stroke.
