Luke Ayling is eager to put his personal record against Huddersfield Town straight when Bristol City travel to the John Smith’s Stadium.
The former Yeovil Town defender faced the Terriers on five occasions for the Glovers picking up just one point.
Ayling’s last match at the John Smith’s Stadium ended in a 5-1 defeat back in December 2013, and the defender hopes to turn his fortunes around with victory on Saturday (3pm).
“I owe them one,” he told Bristol City Player HD.
“Last time I played there we scored early but things went bad from there.
“I’ve played them five times and I don’t think I’ve got a good result yet so hopefully Saturday we can change that and get three points.”
Huddersfield recorded their first win in seven matches last weekend with a 2-0 win over Birmingham City.
It was new manager David Wagner’s first three points in charge and Ayling expects a difficult challenge against the German’s side.
“It’ll be a really tough game,” he said.
“They have a new manager and they’re playing a lot of football now. They’re keeping a lot of the ball so we know pressing and getting after them is going to be massive.
“It’s going to be a really good game of football and hopefully we can get a result.”
