Marlon Pack has signed a new two-year contract at Ashton Gate.
The 25-year-old midfielder has put pen to paper on new terms which tie him to the club until 2018, with a further year option.
Head coach Lee Johnson told bcfc.co.uk: “Marlon has been really important for us and certainly since I’ve arrived, he’s been getting better all the time.
“I obviously watched Bristol City from afar with him in the team, but now having worked with him first-hand, I know he’s a top footballer with a great football brain.
“We’ve worked very hard on keeping him central and, like a lot of this group, I’m sure he’ll only get better. He’s coming into his prime now and his new contract is great for us, and makes this window even better.”
Pack signed for the club after a successful trial in 2013 and became a regular in the side.
In 2014/15 he was integral to the team that won both the Sky Bet League One title and Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.
Pack has now made 152 appearances in a City shirt, scoring four times.
