Bristol City have secured the 93-day loan signing of QPR midfielder Ben Gladwin.
The 23-year-old’s loan spell will begin on Friday, meaning he is eligible to play in every fixture for the rest of the season, bar the meeting with his parent club on the final day of the campaign.
Gladwin was playing non-league football until 2013 when Swindon Town plucked him from Marlow.
In two seasons Gladwin became one of the stars of the show at the County Ground, scoring 11 times in 57 outings.
After Swindon lost the in the 2015 Sky Bet League One play-off final, Gladwin and his team-mate Massimo Luongo both joined QPR for an undisclosed fee.
Gladwin has played four times for the London club to date and rejoined Swindon on loan in October, making 13 appearances for his former employers.
Now the midfielder will get a crack at the Sky Bet Championship at Ashton Gate as City look to move away from the relegation zone.
Gladwin will be available for Saturday’s Championship match at Leeds United and has been handed squad number eight.
