Tour Of Britain Rides Through Bristol

Bristol was the backdrop to another thrilling day of action as the Tour Of Britain picked up pace this Wednesday.

Sir Bradley Wiggins had a disappointing day finishing a full six seconds behind stage winner and Tour leader Michal Kwiatkowski.

Poland's Kwiatkowski won a sprint finish on Durdham Downs to claim a time bonus and take the yellow jersey by three seconds from Edoardo Zardini.

Thousands of Bristolians turned out to cheer on cyclists as they carved a path through North Bristol during stage four, beginning at Wotton-under-Edge, passing through Henbury, continuing along the Portway and up Bridge Valley Road before the sprint finish on Durdham Downs.
