Zamparelli Claims Third Race Weekend Podium In A Row

Bristol Sport GP3 driver Dino Zamparelli continued his great recent record securing his third podium in a row this week in Belgium.

Dino struggled for pace in qualifying having gambled on slick tyres on a wet track and qualified for the first race in tenth position. However a great drive from Zamparelli in some testing conditions saw him climb his way up to second in a thrilling race.

Commenting on the conditions Dino explained: 'The conditions were so tricky. In the end, I made some good moves early on, and once I got past the slow moving wet tyre traffic, I ended up second.'

Dino completed a great weekend with another points position on Sunday. Beginning race two in seventh Dino held on to this position during the race to get himself in the points again and secured his joint highest points scoring weekend.

The 21 year-old from Bristol is now looking forward to pushing on and claiming his maiden GP3 victory at Monza: 'I feel like we have finally got the race one podium monkey off my back; now it's time to go and win a race one!

'Monza is a track that I enjoy and have always been fast at! We will look to carry on the momentum that we have built. Hopefully we’ll have a great qualifying session with no dramas or crazy traffic, and I'll be able to show my true pace to get that first race win!'
