Business leaders from across the region came together with players, supporters and charity partners at the annual showpiece event, raising more than £50,000 for our sporting charities.

In a memorable evening in the stadium’s Lansdown Restaurant, the life changing work of the Bristol Sport Foundation, Bristol City Community Trust, Bristol Bears Community Foundation and Bristol Flyers Community was showcased, with funds raised going directly towards their programmes.

Live entertainment included the Bristol Melody Makers choir, raising money for Bristol’s Southmead Hospital charity, as well as inspirational case studies and interviews with the likes of Bristol City’s Lee Johnson, Bristol Bears’ Pat Lam and Kim Oliver, and Bristol Flyers coach Andreas Kapoulas.

Bristol Sport founder, Stephen Lansdown CBE, said: “Once again, it was fantastic to see how the business and sporting communities joined forces to celebrate a year of remarkable progress, but also to raise funds for the life-changing work that our charities continue to deliver.

That engagement and that contribution to the social well-being of Bristol and the surrounding area is something that we are extremely proud of and it’s a driving factor behind Bristol Sport and our vision.”

“Through the power of sport, our charities reach out to some of the most disenfranchised young people in the city, while programmes such as walking football and rugby also support our over-55s. That engagement and that contribution to the social well-being of Bristol and the surrounding area is something that we are extremely proud of and it’s a driving factor behind Bristol Sport and our vision.”
