Organised by prolific local charity fundraiser Paul Hobbs, the 5k walk around the home of Bristol City and Bristol Bears aims to raise awareness and funds for aortic dissection.

In the UK & Ireland, more than 2,000 people per year lose their lives from aortic dissection, which is caused by a partial tear in the wall of the aorta – a major artery in the body.

Hobbs will be joined for the walk by former Tottenham Hotspur legend Steve Perryman MBE, BBC broadcaster Bob Harris and 1991 FA Cup final referee Roger Milford.

The event is free for spectators and there will be ample opportunities to cheer on the walkers, access the bar area and meet the special guests on the day.

Entertainment and music will be provided by Micky John Bull. Doors open at 12.30pm but please note you will need to pre-book your ticket in advance to attend.
