Retail Supervisor

We have exciting new opportunities to join our retail team at Ashton Gate as a Retail Supervisor.

The successful candidates will support the management team and provide leadership and management to the store assistants as well as oversee the sale of all merchandise in the Ashton Gate Store.

Successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring that all customers receive the best customer service levels and have an amazing experience in our store at Ashton Gate.

Salary - £17,500 per annum plus company benefits package

We are looking for a presentable, personable, highly organised and passionate individual to join our growing and progressive team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development of the full time and casual team by providing excellent people management as well as the ability to drive in store sales.

Your contribution to the team includes

  • To ensure consistency in customer service throughout the team.
  • To deliver high standards of customer service to achieve great mystery shop results.
  • To ensure that cleanliness, standards and merchandising is being maintained at all times.
  • To provide an exceptional and friendly service at all times.
  • To ensure a good level of product knowledge.
  • To report to the sales manager or stock control manager regarding daily duties and what will be achieved on those days.
  • Able to train staff to the standards we require.
  • Set daily tasks for staff that are on shift.
  • Will be required to run the store in the managers absence.

Able to assist in the running of our retail e-commerce platform

  • Competent in using computers
  • You will be able to provide first class service to all customers.
  • You are hard- working, used to acting on your own initiative.
  • You love to be an important part of a team.
  • You are great at multi-tasking.
  • You have pride in your work and excellent attention to detail.
  • Good at working closely within a team to deliver an excellent customer journey.
  • Confident in leading a team to achieve sales targets.


  • Previous experience in retail.
  • To have worked at team leader/supervisor level previously
