Billingham went on to add: “We’ve been in discussions with recording artist D-Jukes and Sophia May from USUK Promotions and other major music agents, to bring the biggest names in the music industry to the stadium and further promote the city of Bristol.”
Recording artist D-Jukes said: “We’ve been working hard on this project and this could be great for Bristol. We have a strong team behind us and a great working relationship with Andrew Billingham and his team. Furthermore being in the music industry we have solid relationships with the artists themselves whom we are planning to bring to the stadium.
“Although there are big plans for 2017, the press was given information from people not involved in this project. We are sorry that this has happened but extremely excited for the true announcements to be made soon.”
