The third concert of the #SummerSeries, following Rod Stewart and Take That in successive weeks, saw the state-of-the-art stadium pulsing to the trio on their Simulation Theory World Tour.

With their die-hard fans having arrived early to get into the Fan Village, they certainly made the most of the bars and food stalls, from Chunk pies of Devon – fittingly Muse’s home county – to the Sausage van doing a sizzling trade and, of course, the ever popular fish and chip bar.

As the sun went down over the Stadium, the Starlight was certainly shining on Muse’s first show in Bristol since 2001 and they did not disappoint with a vibrant, light-filled show.

Uprising had the already fired-up crowd fist pumping the air while Plug In Baby got the floor really moving as night fell.

By the time they had finished off their set with Knights of Cydonia the crowd had been treated to another spectacular concert.

It’ll be rock to pop for the final concert when The Spice Girls come to town on Monday, June 10th.

What the fans said:

“The shuttle bus down the Portway was a really good idea and got us here really easily. The access was great. It’s a great stadium and really relaxed atmosphere.”
Chris Giles
“We love Muse’s music. It’s the first time we’ve seen them!”
Sam Laity and Brandon White

The Stadium completes the #SummerSeries with Spice Girls who perform on Monday, June 10th.
