Ashton Gate Stadium is pleased to announce Russell Brand will be performing at the stadium next year as part of his 33 tour of the UK.
The comedian will perform at the home of Bristol City and Bristol Bears on Monday, May 16th, 2022. Additional dates have been announced after a sold-out run of the show in 2021.
Tickets via the stadium are on sale now. The show has a recommended age guideline of 16+.
Jenny Hutchinson, Ashton Gate’s Head of Venue said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming Russell Brand to the stadium. 2022 promises to be a big year for concerts and performances and we’re delighted that our stadium has been chosen as one of the venues for this UK tour.
“It builds on the success of our previous comedy nights and concerts and our innovative use of the Lansdown Stand as an “outside” auditorium, it has really made Ashton Gate a standout venue for comedians and touring artists.”
His latest show sees Brand attempt to match his spiritual and intellectual aspirations with his earthly desires and foibles, complete with plenty of self-effacing humour along the way. Speaking of the tour on his popular YouTube channel, Brand said, ‘I’ll be talking about the madness we’ve been through and how we can process it together.’
