The data that we have compiled shows that the sales points that introduced a cashless operation have seen an increase in the speed of service which is helping to combat large queues at peak times and in turn, provide a better service for fans on matchdays. During the first phase the sales points that were included in the cashless system included a number of concessions, the Fan Village and sections of the hospitality areas.
As part of the second phase, which will come into play from the beginning of February 2020, more of our internal concession units and hospitality sales points will move to a cashless operation, all our external concession units will operate a fully cashless operation and our ticket office will also introduce cashless sales points. The coffee shop and retail shop will remain unchanged for the second phase of the roll-out.
We hope that by expanding the cashless operation, we will see further improvements in respect of reduced queuing times and customer service on busy matchdays.
