Bristol Bears narrowly lose out to Worcester

Bristol Bears fell short of a third Gallagher Premiership win on the bounce as Worcester Warriors took the spoils at Ashton Gate on Saturday.

A penalty try kicked off the scoring for Bristol before Morahan crossed on 15 minutes, but scores from Ted Hill, Ben Te’o and Josh Adams cancelled them out as Warriors led at the break.

Duncan Weir’s penalty extended the lead further before Callum Sheedy crossed to bring Bristol within striking distance.

But Ian Madigan’s late penalty drifted agonisingly wide, as Worcester held on for the win.
