Campbell also praised the infrastructure of the club as well as highlighting the exciting growth of the women’s game over the past 12 months.

Guests at the luncheon also received a presentation from Bristol Sport’s Group Head of Commercial Caroline Herbert, whilst also having the opportunity to network following the event.

“The analogy I use is that getting involved (in women’s sport) now is buying the surf board, because the wave is coming,” she said.

“The women’s team sports are doing phenomenally well – women’s sport generally is doing really well – but team sports are having a golden era.

“And for me, working in partnership with business, there is huge potential to grow the sport and the business at the same time.”
