Having taken part in the last three years – and raised more than £1,000 for the Bristol Sport charities, alongside her father – a foot operation has ruled Holly out this year.
And she says her motivation for supporting the event is ‘the invaluable funds the ride raises for the charities’.
“I have ridden Break the Cycle for the past few years and it’s always a highlight in the cycling calendar,” says Holly.
“The route, organisation and atmosphere, it’s second to none, but the main driver for me is the invaluable funds the ride raises for the Bristol Sport charities.
“It is one of their main fundraisers and people always did deep.
“Last year, Dad and I raised over a £1,000. This year I am unable to ride due to a foot operation and I am gutted to say the least – but I will be back next year!
“If you have not ridden ‘Break the Cycle’ before and are thinking of doing so, I can’t recommend it highly enough.
“There are distances to suit all abilities and it’s a cracking day out.”
