Emily Westwood, 23, will join up with the growing squad for the start of the AJ Bell National Badminton League (NBL) season.
The mixed doubles star, who has been playing Badminton since the age of six, recently won her first senior title at the Welsh International Challenge. Having reached the final of both the Italian and Austrian International Challenge, as well as the Swiss Grand Prix Gold in the last year, she links up with the Jets in a rich vein of form.
Westwood told Bristol Sport: “I’m really excited for the start of the NBL season.
“The squad being assembled at the Jets is really exciting. It’s full of youthful, enthusiastic players like myself so it was an easy decision to sign.
“I have been training in Bath for the last year and was really excited to hear of Bristol Sport’s interest in bringing me into the Jets squad allowing me to remain in the South West.
“I hope to bring my recent form to the competition and help us pick up as many points as possible. With such a young squad it will be a real challenge this year but one that we are all up for.”
Bristol Jets season cards will be on sale from Wednesday 19, October with the first home fixture of the season taking place at SGS Wise Arena against last seasons champions, Birmingham Lions.
