The company has been selected as ticketing partner as part of the £45 million rebuild of Ashton Gate Stadium, which is home to Bristol City Football Club and Bristol Rugby.

TopTix Sport was selected after a detailed review of the sports ticketing market during 2014 and the company’s SRO4 suite of software was launched in March ahead of the 2015/2016 season ticket renewal campaign.

TopTix’s SRO4 software is being used to manage ticketing, corporate and customer profiling activity from one central database which includes a powerful reports engine and a brand new on-line ticketing solution which works hand in hand with the clubs main websites.

Bristol Sport CEO, Andrew Billingham, said: “Ticketing is such an important component of a sports club’s interaction with its supporters, and it was high on our agenda when looking at new solutions as part of the stadium rebuild project.

“We were immediately impressed with TopTix Sport and the level of flexibility demonstrated within the SRO4 product suite and we have been delighted with the impact SRO4 has had in the early stages of our rollout project with the season ticket campaign for 2015/2016.

“In previous years we have been restricted to selling season tickets via the stadium offices only, with no facility to sell on-line and this has caused operational issues and a lack of flexibility for supporters. On launching with TopTix we have been able to process a record number of season ticket sales across both rugby and football.

“Around 35% of all season tickets have been processed on-line via our website. The TopTix reporting system is also hugely beneficial as we have a range of real-time dashboard reports with full breakdown analysis, allowing the management team to make informed decisions at a moment’s notice.”

As well as the core SRO4 software delivery TopTix Sport is working with Access Control partner Fortress GB to deliver a seamless link to the new turnstile access solution at the Ashton Gate Stadium and will also collaborate with the club’s additional software partners across retail, accounts and other departments as the stadium development project progresses.

TopTix Sport’s managing director Peter Joyce commented: “The Bristol Sport project is both innovative and exciting and we were delighted to be selected after the club’s detailed review process. The Ashton Gate Stadium rebuild is going to be first class and we are already seeing positive results from the initial implementation of our suite of software solutions in the first few months since our launch.

“SRO4 is delivered as one solution to manage all activity for Bristol City Football Club and Bristol Rugby in the same system with other sports teams able to be phased in as required. The management team at Bristol Sport is committed to delivering an excellent service across all aspects of the club’s dealings with supporters and we look forward to working as part of a team of suppliers in delivering solutions that support the expansion project”.

Andrew Billingham concluded: “We have some exciting times ahead in the coming months across all of our sports and the continued stadium development work.

“TopTix Sport will help drive our ambitious plans with making ticketing easier and more accessible to our fans. We will launch a new ‘print at home’ ticketing scheme ahead of this season and will roll out new features as we progress.”
