As part of Enterprise Term, May Park Primary School in Eastville organised a Futures Day. Bristol Sport was invited to talk to the children and inspire them to think about interesting careers.
Bristol Flyers Greg Streete came along and said: “Events like this are really important.”
He added: “When I was at school we didn’t have things like this, so in terms of giving the children guidance and ideas on career options, it invaluable.”
Pupils had the chance to hear from physiotherapists, sport scientists, web designers, nurses and the police as well as from Bristol Sport staff.
Memberships and Group Tickets Development Manager, Vicky Barlow said: “Days like these are great, it gives children an insight into what we do at Bristol Sport and a few new ideas on what they could go into in the future.”
