Ashton Gate is actively working alongside the club’s foundations and local charities to ensure families and vulnerable people have access to food throughout the crisis.
The stadium has opened its doors to Feed The Homeless – whose food packages are supporting over three hundred people – and the Bristol Food Union who have delivered over 750 food parcels.
Meanwhile, volunteers from the sporting clubs and its charities have teamed up with FareShareSW to distribute nearly 2,500 meals per week. FareShareSW are currently storing more than 66 tonnes of food at the stadium – that’s the equivalent of 155,000 meals.
