She faces former Wimbledon semi-finalist and world number 47 Tsvetana Pironkova in the first round, having received a wildcard entry to the tournament.
The 16 year-old is one of British tennis’ brightest prospects having finished runner-up at the Australian Open girls’ tournament in January.
Swan, who now resides in Wichita in the USA, began paying at age seven, winning her first international tournament in Croatia three years later.
