Held at Mendip Spring Golf Club and sponsored by Heineken, the Golf Day attracted 80 competitors.
Head coach Lee Johnson took part alongside Dean Holden, Jamie McAllister and vice-chairman Jon Lansdown.
Some players can clearly swing a club better than others and it was Lee Tomlin’s team – all members at Mendip Spring – who came out victorious on the day.
However, the real winner was charity.
“It’s been a fantastic day,” said Olly Slym from Children’s Hospice South West.
“Not only have we raised a substantial amount of money and had a wonderful day, but it is also about creating awareness of the hospice and there’s no better way of doing it than at Bristol City’s Golf Day.
“It’s an honour to be part of the event; Mendip Spring have done us proud and Heineken have sponsored the day so a huge thanks goes to them.”

Bristol City Community Trust’s Billy Bond, added: “Following on from the Quiz Night, the Golf Day has been absolutely brilliant.
“The players, coaches and backroom staff have been extremely enthusiastic and have been part of it since day one.
“It’s been a huge success and more importantly than anything else, the money we have raised has been fantastic, which will be split between the two charities.”
City’s partnership with Children’s Hospice South West has now been running for around two years and the players regularly visit the Charlton Farm hospice, close to the club’s Failand training ground.
This year Bristol City Community Trust has helped supercharge the partnership, joining up to support a charity quiz night – raising £2,000 – and the golf day.
