Wales international and City Women Captain joined the club in 2015 where she has quickly become a favourite with the fans and her fellow teammates.
The 23-year-old midfielder played at Arsenal and Coventry City before making the move to Bristol.
Internationally, Ladd along with teammates Georgia Evans, Loren Dykes and Amina Vine have been selected for the Cyprus Women’s Cup for Wales at the end of this month as well as boasting more than 25 senior caps to her name.
“I gave Hayley the captaincy last year, at a young age, but she has not let me down,” said head coach Willie Kirk.
“She has handled it with a lot of maturity, and not let it affect her own performances one bit.
“She plays with a level of consistency that is important for the team and important for her position.
“I believe that Hayley can be as good as she wants to be. I will help her every way that I can to help her fill her potential.
“The first step of that, is leading the club into the Spring Series and testing herself against some of the best players in world football.”
Now in WSL1, Bristol City Women will open their campaign against Reading at Ashton Gate on Saturday, April 22nd (KO 6pm) before taking on Arsenal, Chelsea and current league Champions Man City at the Stoke Gifford Stadium.
