Winning several awards early in his career, including Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2006, Seann certainly knows how to work a room. His stand-up style has been described as ‘impressively universal, gag-heavy and observational’, making him a brilliant choice for one of Ashton Gate’s first events back.

Seann will be joined by Bristol-based Mark Olver; a stand-up comedian and experienced TV warm-up artist. He performs at comedy clubs all over the UK, has supported comedians such as Russell Howard and is also the warm-up act on TV show Deal or No Deal. Olver has been described as ‘cheerful and funny’ and ‘a genuine feel good show’.
Joining the line-up is Josh Jones and Abi Clarke.
Born and bred in Manchester, Josh Jones is fast becoming one of the best young acts on the circuit. In just three short years, Josh has gone from an open spot to a regular at some of the biggest comedy clubs in the country, including the prestigious Glee Club.
Abie Clarke is a stand-up comedian based in Bristol who took to the internet in 2020. In her first year online, she amassed over 227k followers on Instagram and 741k followers (with 15.3 million likes across her videos) on TikTok. Abi was named as one of the ‘Top 11 Comedy Stars of the Internet’ by The Independent and has had her viral sketches shared by the likes of ENews, Buzzfeed, LadBible, Good Morning Britain and BBC One. Fans of her online work include Katherine Ryan, Patton Oswalt and SNL’s Chloe Fineman.
Recent TV credits include Sky One’s ‘Dating No Filter’ and she has been described as ‘Incredibly funny’ and ‘hilarious’.
This entertaining evening will see the Dolman Hall transformed, with picnic benches set within, all socially distanced, and those who book earliest will be seated closest to the front. The perfect spot to wonder at Walsh!
There will be table service in operation, providing a range of food and drinks so that you can really make an evening of it. We ask for you to wear a face mask when moving around the venue, but this can be removed when seated at your bench.
A picnic bench costs £70 (plus booking fee) and can seat up to 4 people. So gather your mates and make sure you don’t miss out!
