The Community Trust has had in excess of 100 prospective students apply for their four college courses in the past 12 months – and nobody is more excited about the level of demand the courses have attracted than Chris Stenner, the Trust’s head of education.
“GCSE results day is an occasion I personally always look forward to,” said Stenner.
“Obviously those receiving their grades will be nervous prior to learning their results and that is completely understandable.
“However, for colleagues and myself we have the opportunity to notify students that their hard work over the past few months has been worthwhile as we accept them on to their preferred course at the Trust.
“Class lists will also start to become finalised once we know which prospective students have been accepted and that generates a large amount of excitement and anticipation ahead of the new academic year.
“Tomorrow will be an extremely busy day but it is one everyone connected to the Trust is looking forward to.
“I would also like to take this opportunity to to wish everyone receiving GCSE results across the country the very best of luck.”
Limited places are still available on each of the Trust’s post-16 education programmes commencing in September. For further information, please click here.
