The camps, which are being delivered at Gordano School in Portishead and Abbeywood School in Stoke Gifford until Thursday, 25th August, kicked off on Monday, 1st August.

They run from 10am-3pm each day and are designed to give boys and girls of all abilities, aged six-14, the opportunity to develop their footballing ability, social development and fitness, whilst participating in a fun, safe environment.

Bristol City Community Trust’s highly-qualified and experienced team of coaches are delivering the sessions, with the days being split into two. The mornings focus on introductions and a variety of drills, while the afternoons feature tournament style matches, where participants look to replicate the performances of players and teams involved in the Euros.

Commenting on the Trust’s holiday camps, head coach Sarah Adams said: “Bristol City Community Trust’s holiday camps are an affordable and accessible way for children to remain active during the school holidays in a fun, safe environment.

“Not only do the participants benefit physically and mentally, but they also have a great chance to socialise with other children from around the community, who they may not otherwise interact with.

“Although we hope to develop players during their time with us and give them some direction, the main emphasis of the camps is on participation and enjoyment!”

The football fun camps are priced at £15 per day, £30 for two days, £40 for three days or £50 for all four days.
