Break The Cycle

Break The Cycle is Bristol Rugby Community Foundation's annual showpiece fundraising event, founded in 2010. The charity bike ride, which sees entrants take on one of three available routes - Gold (110 miles), Silver (65 miles) and Bronze (35 miles) - to raise money for the Bristol Sport charity of their choice.

Break the Cycle 2018 will take place on Sunday, July 8th. Stay tuned for further information on the event's tenth edition. For more information, contact event director, Paul Glanville (paul.glanville@bristol-sport.co.uk).

Break the Cycle 2017 raised more than £25,000 for Bristol Sport Foundation, Bristol City Community Trust, Bristol Rugby Community Foundation and Bristol Flyers Community, as more than 300 cyclists braved the scorching conditions to complete their chosen route.

Hardy fundraisers saddled up in temperatures upwards of 25 degrees to complete either the Gold (100 miles), Silver (65 miles) or Bronze (35 miles) routes – with all money raised going towards Bristol Sport Foundation or its partner charities.

We have a dedicated Break The Cycle Event Director (Paul Glanville) who can be contacted via email at pglanville@bristolrugby.co.uk who can help you with all your fundraising queries.

We also use Virgin Money Giving for all of our online fundraising.
