Both Danson and Joie Leigh are set to feature after helping Team GB to gold at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games in the summer.
The fixture will also see the celebration of Clifton Ladies Hockey Club’s official merger with Robinsons Hockey Club to form Clifton Robinsons Hockey Club.
Defender Aileen Davis said: “We’re very excited for Sunday, with the match against Reading marking GB’s Alex Danson’s debut and Joie Leigh’s return – as well as it being a celebration of Clifton Ladies Hockey club officially merging with Robinsons Hockey Club to form Clifton Robinsons Hockey Club.
“Reading are always a quality opponent and we’ve had some hard fought games against them in the past.
“Although they haven’t had the results going their way to date in the league this season, we have no doubt that this will be a tough match and hopefully one that all those coming down to support will enjoy watching.”
