The annual cycling fundraiser, which raised more than £40,000 for the Bristol Sport charities in July 2019, offers three stunning routes – Gold (100 miles), Silver (60 miles) and Bronze (40 miles).
Cyclists can choose to raise money for one of the Bristol Sport charities:
- Bristol City Robins Foundation
- Bristol Bears Community Foundation
- Bristol Flyers Community
- Bristol Sport Foundation

Last year, more than 250 cyclists saddled up through the picturesque West Country and South Wales countryside, with organisers aiming to beat that number when the tenth edition arrives.
Chief Community Officer, Ben Breeze, said: “We are delighted to announce the date of our tenth Break the Cycle.
“The funds raised by the riders and sponsors on Break the Cycle have been crucial to the on-going survival and success of our sporting charities.
“Break the Cycle is an accessible and enjoyable event that enables individuals and businesses to support some of the most disadvantaged communities in Bristol.
“Break the Cycle has launched new and sustained under-funded programmes that have gone on to win Parliamentary Awards and so I would like to personally thank everyone who has supported and contributed to the event over its ten year history and look forward to our best event yet.”
