The event, which will be opened by chief community officer, Ben Breeze, had been scheduled for Thursday, 18th October, but has since been changed.
With a focus on the power and impact of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and special guest speakers Dan Foster of Triodos Bank, Nick Davies of Neighbourly.com and Richard Roberts from en:Rich HR and Pure Planet, the themes of the event tie in perfectly with the Foundation’ Nascence Project.
The Nascence Project is Bristol Sport Foundation’s business and community engagement programme, designed to bring business and community together through the life-changing impact of sport.
“It increasingly matters to people that the organisation they work for, or are customers of, do something good and socially responsible for the community,” said event organiser, Richard Roberts.
“Therefore, CSR policy, with its focus on positive values, can help make a real impact on both the business and wider communities.
“We are delighted to support this event and very much look forward to welcoming delegates to Ashton Gate Stadium. The theme of the event aligns closely with the values of Bristol Sport Foundation’s business and community engagement programme, Nascence.”
“This event is all about helping organisations understand what CSR is, how to get it right and hear first-hand from those who already have.
“They’ll leave with tips they put into practice – and the good thing about CSR is that you don’t need a huge budget to get it off the ground.”
“We are delighted to support this event and very much look forward to welcoming delegates to Ashton Gate Stadium,” said corporate partnerships manager, Paul Glanville.
“The theme of the event ‘The power of Corporate Social Responsibility: How to get it right’ aligns closely with the values of Bristol Sport Foundation’s business and community engagement programme.
“The event will open with a welcome from Ben Breeze, the Foundation’s chief community officer.”
All proceeds from the event will go to Bristol Sport Foundation and contribute to the charity’s life-changing work in Greater Bristol. Click here to book your ticket.
