Bristol City FC’s players and staff enjoy the facilities on offer at Long Ashton, located just minutes from the Failand training base. Meanwhile, Bristol Rugby’s first team squad utilise the first class facilities at the Westbury-On-Trym branch as they prepare for the new season under Pat Lam, which kicks-off on Sunday September 3 rd against Hartpury.

As well as engaging with supporters and the local community, the professional teams regularly undertake training and pool recovery sessions at the two David Lloyd sites in the city.

Bristol Sport chief commercial officer Caroline Herbert said: “We’re dedicated to growing our links with the local community and businesses in the region, so it’s fantastic that we enjoy a mutually beneficial relationship with David Lloyd.

“The facilities provide a superb environment for both teams to use before and after games.”

Jack Phillips, General Manager at David Lloyd, said: “We’re pleased to continue as official fitness partners of Bristol Rugby and Bristol City FC.

“It’s a positive time for both clubs with Ashton Gate now established as one of the city’s most iconic venues and two clubs vying for success. We’re delighted to support both professional teams and help to drive the fitness and recovery goals of the teams.”
