“After a tough away trip to Birmingham the squad are looking forward to being back in familiar surroundings,” said the 22 year old.
“The support we’ve received so far has been fantastic, it really drives the team on and we can’t thank the fans enough.”
After defeat to Birmingham on Wednesday, Evans says the team are looking to put things right tomorrow.
“We weren’t clinical enough on Wednesday and that really cost us,” she added.
“We made it very hard for ourselves going 2-0 down in the first half as we didn’t get off to the best start and we never recovered. The second half we improved, but tomorrow we are looking to be at them from the first whistle.”
The City Women star is well aware of the threat Liverpool will bring.
“They are a class outfit that much is obvious.
“They are a big, physical side who move the ball well around the park. When they get chances, they rarely miss them and we are aware of that.”
The City Women star says the team are improving game by game.
“I feel like we are almost there and something is going to give. We are a young team, we are newly promoted and we are having a really good go,” added Evans.
“The score line hasn’t reflected our performances in some matches and those are the positives we are taking forward into tomorrow.”
