PMGC’s Father and son team, Sam and Ryan O’Donnell, have been involved with Bristol City for over five years when they were part of AMC – a family run business in Bristol.

Former AMC Director Sam O’Donnell said: “Everyone at AMC were always huge supporters of Bristol City and we started attending matches and frequently hosting tables in hospitality for clients and staff.”

He added: “After growing our relationship with the commercial team we were delighted to become the club’s Official Communications Partner.”

“This was a great platform for AMC to engage with other businesses affiliated with the club.”

In 2012 the AMC Communications Lounge officially opened at Ashton Gate. Ryan O’Donnell, who joined the business seven years before, said: “The lounge was a members only lounge and the hub on a match day.”

A year later AMC was acquired by a larger telecoms provider, PMGC Technology Group and soon after the takeover Sam and Ryan O’Donnell left the company and Ryan started his own business.

Sam O’Donnell explains: “After AMC was taken over our relationship with Bristol City sadly broke down due to the Bristol office closing.”

PMGC went through a major shake up last year and Shez Cheema was appointed as CEO and approached Sam and the old team about returning to the company and bringing back the ethos of integrity, transparency and fair play.

Ryan O’Donnell commented: “PMGC had a vision to re-build the Bristol branch and South West region and I returned to the company in 2015.”

“It is important that our customers benefit from our vision of providing them with solutions and services that are value-for-money whilst technical fit for purpose so they can focus on running their businesses.”

“PMGC are now re-engaged with Bristol Sport and feel that once again it is a great platform for the company and look forward to extending our existing relationship with Bristol Sport.”
