The Bristol gymnast’s display was much improved across all disciplines, scoring well on her first apparatus, the uneven bars, with 13.85, followed up by a 14.75 on the beam. She then scored 14.7 on the floor before a 14.8 on the vault saw her claim her best ever score.

“It feels absolutely amazing. I’ve never been British all-around champion and I got a personal best so really pleased,” said the 18-year-old.

“This gives me a huge amount of confidence and I can’t wait for my next competition now.”
