The world-renowned Sheffield quartet kick off their highly-anticipated UK & Ireland Tour for their seventh studio album, The Car, at the home of Bristol City and Bristol Bears.
Here’s your “Guide To The Gate” of what to expect.

12:00pm Ticket Box Office open (if you have any ticket issues go here)
3:00pm Fan Village, indoor bars and Official merchandise open | Ashton Road closes to traffic from 3pm-2am
5:00pm Stadium Bowl (Pitch and seating access) opens
6:40pm Concert starts with first support act*
9:00pm Winterstoke Road closes except for pre-booked Event Special Shuttle Buses
10:25pm Concert Ends
11:00pm Bars Close
Midnight Stadium Closes

🎟️ TICKETS
Tickets have SOLD OUT for Arctic Monkeys at Ashton Gate, with fans urged to arrive early and be prepared with their tickets before getting to the stadium.
Please make sure you download and distribute individual tickets ahead of arriving and have these ready to show as you approach the stadium for ticket checks.
The Ticket Office will be open from 12pm.
🏟️ THE STADIUM
There is no parking on the stadium site.
There are three entry points to the stadium: Gates 1, 2 & 3 (see map below).
Please make sure that you check your ticket to see which entrance you should use.
Remember to download and distribute individual tickets ahead of arriving at the stadium and have these ready to show as you approach for ticket checks.
All tickets will be scanned on entry, with wristbands being distributed to pitch standing ticket holders. Please make sure that you wear suitable clothing for the weather.
Bag searches will take place upon arrival. Bags must be smaller than an A4 size and sealed water bottles (500ml or smaller) placed in a transparent plastic container. Additional cans/bottles are not permitted onsite, including your own alcohol. Umbrellas are not permitted.
No professional cameras are permitted onsite. Anything with a detachable lens is not permitted.
Access to pitch standing will be via A8 & A9 and exit to the rear of the pitch. For standing ticket holders there are pitchside bars located at the back of the pitch.
Stadium-wide free WiFi is available.
🚫 PROHIBITED ITEMS
All bags will be searched on entry and anything larger than A4 size will not be permitted.
The following is a list of prohibited items:
- Glass, cans, bottles or thermos flasks of any kind
- Flammable liquids and aerosols (including perfume, hairspray etc)
- Laser pens/pointers
- Laptops, Ipads, professional cameras/video equipment
- Food and drink, unless for medicinal purposes
- Signs, banners, flags, inflatables, selfie sticks
- Air horns, whistles or other noise making devices
- Knives or weapons, fireworks, confetti, glitter bombs or sprays
- Your own alcohol
👨👩👧👦 Fan Village
The Fan Village, Official Merchandise Stands and inside bars will open at 3pm.
We will have a variety of food and drink offerings including:
- Bristol Beer Factory
- Thatchers Bar
- Burgers
- Pulled Pork
- Fish & Chips
- Chicken Skewers
- Six O’Clock Gin Bar
Kofi Lounge is also being taken over by Cotswold Drinks Co while the Bristol Sport Shop is becoming a Thatchers Bar.
Inside Ashton Gate’s concourse bars, we have a range of options including Thatchers Bar; Cocktails; Gin bars; Crisps; Sweets; Pasty; Hot dogs; Vegan hot dogs and Nacho’s.
There are vegetarian and vegan food options in both the Fan Village and stadium concourse. Ashton Gate operates a ‘Challenge 25’ so please ensure you bring valid photo ID.
Please note we are a cashless stadium and there are no cash machines on site.

Event Special Shuttle Bus
All Event Special Shuttle Bus tickets have now sold out. There will be no bus tickets available on the day.
Pre-event buses will operate frequently between 3pm – 7pm. Journey times are dependent on traffic and some acts may start before the buses arrive at the stadium. Fans are urged to get to Ashton Gate Stadium early.
Post-event buses will depart from Winterstoke Road when full and return to collect any remaining passengers. Event Special Shuttle Buses get priority post-concert and are the only vehicles allowed inside the road closures.
Road Closures and Parking
Resident Parking Schemes, road closures and parking suspensions will be in force on the day, so there is no parking near the stadium.
Many roads near Ashton Gate are part of Bristol’s Clean Air Zone which may charge you for using them. Visit www.cleanairforbristol.org/caz for more information.
Please note, Long Ashton Park & Ride will not be open.
🛍️ BRISTOL SPORT SHOP
The Bristol Sport store will be CLOSED on the below dates due to the Arctic Monkeys concert:
- Monday 29th May
- Tuesday 30th May
- Wednesday 31st May
The store will re-open as usual on Thursday 1st June, 9am.
*This will also affect the ability to collect Click and Collect orders, so please consider this when placing your order.*
