The local school reached this stage of the competition after winning the preliminary round-robin tournament at South Bristol Sports Centre, before qualifying to represent Bristol City against other EFL clubs.
After advancing through to the regional finals, Henleaze were unable to keep their dream of playing at Wembley ahead of the Sky Bet Championship play-off final alive, losing to Ipswich Town 2-0.
Bristol City Community Trust’s head of operations Geoff Stevens said: “I would like to congratulate Henleaze on reaching this stage of the competition, it is a brilliant achievement.
“They have been a real credit in representing the club and it has been enjoyable working with the school in recent weeks.
“It has been a great experience for all involved and I hope everyone in the Henleaze side continues to play football as there was some great talent on display.”
