The Aegon Young Player of the Year picked up an injury in the first set of her first round clash with Georgia’s Mariam Bolkvadze.
Swan, originally from Bristol, was playing her second game in the space of a week having lost in straight sets to world number 44 Timea Babos, in the first round of the Ladies’ Singles last week.
The 17-year-old was the youngest player to play on the senior stage in 2016 after receiving a wildcard entry and is highly-regarded as Britain’s next top tennis star.
