For several years we have run a small team of loyal and committed volunteers who have acted as matchday ambassadors for football games. Ambassadors will be rebranded as Matchday Hosts, and we are looking to expand the team and extend this service to rugby games as well. Hosts will be responsible for meeting and greeting home and away supporters, directing people to their seats, helping them find their way round the new concourses and staffing our new information points.
Volunteers will be expected to be available for the majority of games in either football or rugby (or both, if you are fans of both sports) for two hours prior to kick off, and at half times. In return you will receive a free match ticket for every game at which you volunteer.
Full training and a uniform will be provided. Successful applicants will also be asked to attend an induction evening and a pre-season test event.
