After 18 years in the Taxi and Private Hire sector in November 2015 husband and wife team Chris and Siobhan Donnelly started Platinum Executive Travel (Bristol) Ltd with an aim to provide a bespoke high quality, reliable but friendly Executive Car Service.
We chose to invest into giving high quality customer service and have invested in high quality cars only using new Mercedes Benz vehicles. We felt that standards had fallen & we wanted to change the focus back to the customer, after all no customers, no business.
We knew that one of the customer’s biggest issue was a lack of communication so we make sure that they are aware every step of the journey from the initial enquiry via email or txt to a message awaiting them on arrival at major airports letting them know where we are there. It puts people’s mind at rest to allow them to focus on what they need to.
We have found that it’s the little touches that matter, coffee on arrival at airports after a long overnight flight, a pillow and a blanket for a late evening arrival, a text to family letting them know that passengers have been collected as well as the mineral water and WiFi in the cars that are provided as standard.
The company has grown steadily by word of mouth over the past two years and customers are increasing day by day. We travel to/from Heathrow and Gatwick almost daily. We are a supplier for Emirates Airline Chauffeur Service for the South West and South Wales as well as a preferred supplier for Black Lane. We also supplied cars for the Champions League Final in Cardiff last year.
We’ve had a number of celebrities and actors in our cars too. We can’t really say who the most famous person was that my wife transferred but let’s just say “I should be so lucky…..”
As Bristol City fans we also helped pledge our support at this years charity Gala Dinner offering transportation to the Away Day auction prize winner and his family back from Bristol City v Leeds United.
