The newest concession for the upcoming campaign, “LOADED Fries” was born in response to chips being one of the most requested items from supporters inside the stadium.

Our latest tasty offering will be available from the Independence Sports Bar on matchdays, starting with Bristol City’s season-opener against Preston North End on Saturday, August 5th.

Simply place your order by scanning the QR codes displayed throughout the bar, pay and wait for your phone to tell you when they are ready to collect from the kitchen hatch.

Michelle Dring, Stadium Experience Manager at Ashton Gate, said: “We are always looking at ways to improve the matchday experience and after listening to feedback from our fans, chips were one of the top requested items not available inside the stadium.

“This is where the concept of takeaway LOADED Fries was born. Supporters can order by scanning one of the QR codes displayed in the Sports Bar, they will then be notified on when to collect their fries from the Collection Point. This is just phase one so keep an eye on how this concept will evolve over the coming months.”

In addition to the introduction of LOADED Fries, another change for the new season is the removal of pre-match booking for the Independence Sports Bar on matchdays.

For supporters interested in pre-booking a table at the stadium pre-match, check out our Matchday Hospitality Packages in the Heineken Lounge or Lansdown Suite for Bristol City and Bristol Bears matches.

The Independence Sports Bar will still be available to be reserved for private parties and functions on non-matchdays at the stadium. To find out more or to check availability please call our events team on 0117 963 0680 or email events@ashtongate.co.uk.
