Break the Cycle 2017 fundraising passes £25k mark

Break the Cycle 2017’s fundraising effort has soared past the £25,000 mark less than three months after the flagship charity event.

More than 300 cyclists braved the scorching conditions on June 18th to complete their chosen route at Break the Cycle 2017.

Hardy fundraisers saddled up in temperatures upwards of 25 degrees to complete either the Gold (100 miles), Silver (65 miles) or Bronze (35 miles) routes – with all money raised going towards Bristol Sport Foundation or its partner charities.

Paul Glanville, event director, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to see our fundraising total exceed £25k. The money raised will enable our charities to continue their life changing and award winning work across the region.

“We are extremely grateful to everyone who took part in Break the Cycle 2017 and look forward to the 2018 event.”

The date of next year’s Break the Cycle will be announced in due course, so stay tuned for more information.
