Bristol Grand Prix Reach Funding Target

Bristol Cycling Grand Pix have exceeded their £15,000 target which is enough to invest in cycling safety and ensure it becomes an annual event in the city.

The Bristol Grand Prix Cycle Race, sponsored by Bristol Sport, has now raised £16,299 through donations, race sign-ups and pledges for their 'Love Cycling' t-shirts. All the money raised will be invested in making cycling safer in Bristol, getting more people on bikes, improving spectators facilities and making the Grand Prix an annual event in the city.

Organised by Le Sportif & the Big Green Week CIC team will take place on Saturday 20 June 2015. Big Green Week is a Programme Partner for Bristol European Green Capital 2015. Cyclists will take over the streets of Bristol to inspire people of all ages and abilities to #lovethefuture of cycling.
