Bristol Jets has launched its brand-new player development badminton Academy, which will kick off at Gordano School Community Trust Sports Centre on September 6th.
The Academy will aid the development of current county squad players through a focus on badminton skills, strength and conditioning with an aim to help progress youngsters up the ladder towards competing in national tournaments. This will represent another huge step forward for badminton in the region.
Former Bristol Jets senior team head coach, Rebecca Pantaney will oversee the programme bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the Academy players.
“We’re so excited to launch the new player development Academy,” said community development coach, Claire Buckingham.
“The Academy will aid the progress and development of some of our most talented young players, hopefully propelling them to compete on the national stage in the near future."
