Bristol Sport Foundation shortlisted for national award

Bristol Sport Foundation has been shortlisted for the Sport and Recreation Alliance's Creative Partnership Award.

The Creative Partnership Award celebrates clubs/programmes which have worked in partnership with others to secure financial sustainability, drive participation and get the inactive active through either sport, recreation or physical activity. 

“We are delighted to have been shortlisted for the Sport & Recreation Alliance Creative Partnership Award,” said chief community officer, Ben Breeze.

“It is a tremendous endorsement of the brave and innovative approach taken by the trustees and staff at the Foundation.”

The Sport and Recreation Alliance is the umbrella body for sport and recreation in the UK and represents 320 members.

It brings together the sport and recreation sector and supports members to tackle the challenges and take advantage of opportunities. They are the voice of the sector with Government, policy makers and the media, helping get the nation active at the grassroots by providing advice, support and guidance.
