Bristol Sport Foundation (BSF) is pleased to announce an open netball trial (Thursday 25th October), in preparation for the launch of a new South Gloucestershire-based development hub for girls wanting to start out on the sport’s talent pathway.
The trial will give girls aged between eight and 16-years-old the chance to showcase their talents and to be selected to attend the netball development hubs, which will be run alongside the recently launched City of Bristol sessions launched earlier this month.
Full details of the trial are below, which is open to girls aged between eight and 16-years-old:
Date: Thursday, 25th October
Time: 7pm-8:30pm
Venue: John Cabot Academy, Woodside Rd, Bristol, BS15 8BD
Cost: £5 for the trial
Lynne Giles, netball development officer for Bristol Sport Foundation, said: “I am delighted to announce that the second of our two planned academies will be opening.
"The academy will offer talented netball players and athletes a performance environment and potential pathway to regional level netball."
If you would like to attend the trial, please email our netball development officer, Lynne Giles, on lynne.giles@bristol-sport.co.uk.
