Clifton Ladies Hockey Face Canterbury In The League Play-offs

Clifton Ladies Hockey face Canterbury in the League Play-offs this Saturday. 

Clifton Ladies 1st team have finished the season in third place with 39 points and will face second place Canterbury this weekend in the League Play-offs.

In preparation the ladies played a friendly against Slough last weekend and won 3-2 with goals from Liz Sinton, Zoe Leach and Els Mansell.

The whole team are on a high from the win and the success of their Club Dinner after the game where England and Great Britain International, Joie Leigh, was named as Player of the Season after scoring 10 goals in league games this year.

Clifton Ladies are now in London for the all important game at the Olympic Venue, Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre, Stratford Park.
