Community badminton bonanza set for new academic year

Bristol Sport Foundation’s badminton delivery steps up another notch when the academic year gets under way, with a series of new clubs and holiday camps set to be launched.

The very first weekly Jets Badminton Club kicks off on Friday 6th October at Sir Bernard Lovell Sports Centre (5-7pm), running on Fridays. The club is split into two one-hour sessions, with 5-6pm for primary school children and 6-7pm for secondary school.

On Monday 23rd October, the inaugural Jets Holiday Camp – in partnership with Chew Valley Junior Badminton Club - takes places at Chew Valley Leisure Centre (10am-3pm) for children aged 8-14 years old.

For more information or to sign up to either the weekly Badminton Club or Holiday Camp, email community development officer Claire Buckingham (claire.buckingham@bristol-sport.co.uk).
