Date change: Break the Cycle 2018

The date for this year’s Break the Cycle has been brought forward by one week and will now take place on Sunday, July 1st.

The annual charity fundraiser had been due to take place on Sunday, July 8th but has been altered due to a date clash with a separate cycling event in Cotswolds on that day.

It’s the eighth year of Break the Cycle, with last year’s edition raising more than £25,000 for Bristol Sport Foundation, Bristol City Community Trust, Bristol Rugby Community Foundation and Bristol Flyers Community. More than 300 cyclists braved the scorching conditions to complete their chosen route.

Hardy fundraisers saddled up in temperatures upwards of 25 degrees to complete either the Gold (100 miles), Silver (65 miles) or Bronze (35 miles) routes – with all money raised going towards Bristol Sport Foundation or its partner charities.

More information on Break the Cycle 2018 will be released in the new year.
