Dribuild Announced As New South Stand Sponsor

Bristol Sport is pleased to announce construction company Dribuild as the new South Stand sponsor ahead of the 2015/16 season.

The Bristol-based company is a leading contractor in construction, shop-fitting, refurbishment and maintenance industries throughout the UK and has been a long-term supporter of Bristol City FC.

Dribuild director Michael Holt said: “It is a very exciting time to be involved with everything going on here at Ashton Gate Stadium. We’ve always supported the football club but to now have access to the group of sports through Bristol Sport it is even more enticing.

“We’ve joined the Lansdown Club and off the back of that have decided to sponsor the new South Stand.

“Our company vision is to deliver outstanding projects through collaboration and I think this redevelopment of Ashton Gate and what Bristol Sport stands for aligns perfectly with our ethos.”

Dribuild will be the leading sponsors of the new £12m South Stand. The stand will house the Sports Bar & Grill, a 250-seater restaurant, hospitality boxes and a museum of sport in the city.

Bristol Sport chief executive Andrew Billingham added: “It has been great seeing our relationship with Dribuild over the last year develop and a testimony to how much we have inspired local businesses to join us on our journey of making Bristol a great sporting city. Without the support of companies like Dribuild none of this would be possible.”

Bristol Sport is part of the group of companies owned by Stephen Lansdown and manages Ashton Gate Stadium, which is currently undergoing a £45m rebuild to become a new 27,000-capacity multi-use venue. The full redevelopment will be completed next year when it will also become the largest conference and events venue in the south west of England.
